I suppose I am passing from youth to middle-aged. My first thought after reading the quote was “Those darned middle-aged types mess up everything! (Especially the white males.)”
My second thought was “What’s wrong with a woodshed? I’ve gotten a lot more use out of a woodshed than I ever will a bridge to the moon (I’m so sure . . . a bridge to the moon) or a palace or temple (Who would want to pay to furnish and heat/cool those things?).
