This Week’s Sign of the Impending Apocalypse (#112)
The 55th-annual recreation of George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware was canceled this year because of strong currents in the Delaware River.
The event recreates the Continental Army’s famous surprise attack against German mercenaries at Trenton on Christmas Day, 1776.
