This Week’s Sign of the Impending Apocalypse (#90)
A prospective student’s college application to Eastern Illinois University was mistaken for a letter bomb.
School officials notified local police authorities when they received the application by mail that had the following characteristics that cause no small degree of suspicion:
A thick, over-sized envelope.
Envelope was in poor condition.
Stains on the envelope.
Unusual writing on the envelope.
